I had to delete my MAX ENU and now V-Ray will not render in CPU. It works in GPU, but not CPU. I reinstalled both V-Ray and the license manager.

Is the old one still in recycle bin? If so you can try restoring it, or at least compare what is in it to the one you now have that is causing problems. Maybe you can isolate a culprit file or folder and recreate it.
If it is gone forever then try posting a shot of as much of the folder tree as possible and I can see if it is missing anything compared to mine.
I'm afraid that is all I can think of, so good luck

I tried to put the old ENU back to continue working, but nothing, and GPU won't render materials. only wire colors. Uninstalled V-Ray, rebooted, reinstalled, and still not working.

            Wow...total nightmare.
My suggestion of a screenshot isn't going to help actually - simply too many things in it to be able to check, so sorry about that one.
Unless anyone has any other bright idea then you may have to reinstall Max
It's a horrible thing to have happened and I really hope you manage to get up and running asap

Thanks! It might be the file. I successfully rendered a test scene.

The only Vray references in the base of the ENU folder are shown here, just in case that is of any use.

I think it was a coincidence that the file got corrupt when I deleted the ENU. I went back to a previous version of the MAX file and it is rendering. I am working on so many projects I am not sure if I ever even hit render on this one since I restored it from the archive. The project is old and my client had some changes. My MAX menu has been broken (not saving toolbar locations), so I thought it would be a good time to delete the ENU. It worked with my toolbars and since I am using the SINI suites of scripts, I was back 100% in minutes, instead of hours rebuilding my toolbars.

MAX has to fix their mess. I tried WINZIP's tools and it broke my MAX toolbars. The WINZIP tools are a mess themselves, so don't waste your time with them, by the way.
