  • Vray 5 ocio configuration resets itself after restart

    Vray 5 hotfix 2.
We just updated from next and unfortunately the Ocio config in the framebuffer resets itself after each max reboot. Please see the screenshots below. It's fine before I save and shutdown max and it defaults back to raw when I restart max and load the scene.

I've been completely wrecking my shading for half the day before I noticed something doesn't add up .

[edit] not sure if it helps in any way, but I'm using an aces ocio config setup via environment variable.

Hm, I thought we had fixed this but let me ask. Have you tried a newer nightly build?

    Best regards,

I don't yet have access to the nightly builds, I'll have to send an email to support today. But a fixed nightly would of course be great

You should be able to see the builds here without anything special:

Alright! I had to log out, clear the cache and then the vray 5 stable section popped up. I always forget to do that... Thanks vlado! The latest nightly build seems to have indeed fixed it Awesome.
