  • VFB keeps resizing itself

I thought this had been fixed but in rendering a load of images from various files the vfb is changing the size after I load in a reference frame from history.

So the process is that I have e.g. 10 images saved in history at 1024x768 from on scene. I load another scene file, which I want the same size frames from. So I load an image from history to set the buffer size.
When I start IPR it instantly changes the aspect ratio; specifically when previously set to 1024x768 it changes it to 1024x615.
What is causing this and can it be fixed?

Could you attach a video illustrating the issue?

I haven't got a vid yet but I know what is happening and is very easy to check.
The Vfb is taking its size from what is specified in the common tab, so if that is set to e.g. HD, then it will snap to a relative size of that, regardless of the size of the loaded frame's aspect ratio.
I'm pretty sure it was not like this in earlier versions

This behavior is happening in V-Ray 3.7 and NEXT as well. What behavior are you expecting? Do you wish that the loaded VFB History image's aspect ratio is preserved when IPR is started? Also, what exactly are you trying to achieve?

Yes of course it makes sense, thinking about it, that they are linked in this way.
Current project has become messy due to constant client changes and so I will blame them
Thanks for taking the time to check anyway.
