  • VrayBitmap not working with 3Ds Max Resource Collector utilities

    Hello,

    Regularly i need to collect all the files (bitmap, ies, ...) that are use in my projects to backup or send to someone. I noticed that all the textures used in a VrayBitmap Node are not taking into account when collecting the files. So i need to manually check which files is used and copy them manually.

    Can it be possible to add this feature ?

    We can't modify Autodesk scripts, unfortunately.
    You can however use scene archive (from the file menu) which is up to date and works just fine with V-Ray assets (ies, bitmaps, proxies.).
    Alternatively, there are some other scripts that do that and allegedly work better than Max's own stuff.
