  • Vray Frame Buffer RGB vs Composite Breaking

    Hi,

I'm testing a standard vray5 material preset of water on my render. And it breaks the composite build. The RGB looks correct but the composite is wrong. I checked the self illum and vrayss2 which should be rendering black but I'm getting bright info there the specular element seems wrong too though. Here is the link of the toggle between the two.

Anyway to fix this on my end?

    Thanks!

Bump! Okay I narrowed it down to the particle shader object from phoenixfd. check out the new vid link. When using particle shader cellular/bubble mode it will break the back 2 beauty rebuild.

I've attached the file. You'll have to add a hdri to the vray dome light.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the report and the provided files. There does seem to be an issue with the Particle Shader's reflections when composing back to beauty. I've logged the issue (internal bug-tracker id: PHI-5828 ) for developer investigation.

EDIT: The issue is most likely caused by the lack of support for the specular and reflection render elements for the Particle Shader. We'll see if we can prioritize their support.
