    Hi,

    I hit a big issue recently. MultiSubMaterial Random by Element is not respected on VrayProxies(vrmesh), RenderInstance(tyflow), And import as Mesh from a Vray proxy.

    I have a geometry with separate Elements for windows. Check the image below from IPR. But its the same in the Frame Buffer as well. I've attached the file as well!

        Just checked whether vray 5.1 proxy respects 'random by element' multisub map. Still nope. Any progress on this one?

          Yes, actually a developer is working on this right now, so I hope it will make it into a build soon.

            That's awesome. Thanks Vlado! Would be great to get it working in viewport IPR as well.

            Oh while I have your attention...If I have two of the same objects , both using a Random by Element submap. Right now the Randomness is the same between the two objects. Is there a way for Random by Element to have an extra option to seed by object id? Or maybe I am not thinking of a way to do it properly. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
