The IPR issue is now fixed and will become a part of the upcoming hotfix, but in the meantime you can get an updated build here:

Regarding the Fog Bias getting removed in the latest update:

The option is hidden from the UI and only accessible from MaxScript. It is not physically accurate and is generally not available in any other renderer. You can still change it from MaxScript if you need it.
This is an absolute disaster and drastically reduces v-ray functionality for me.

How is one supposed to render a liquid that is more translucent in the thinner parts and opaque in the thicker parts? Like wine, like cola, like many many other liquids. This is a terrible mistake and needs to be reversed.

Can someone please tell me the Maxscript code to restore this feature?

agree with campbell's comment. no info on this in the scripting section of the manual either.

Hi Vlado, any chance you can get this working with VRay Fur? we use fur for Nylon bristles etc. and this would be super useful. Thanks.

Hi, I second the "bring back the fog in the ui" request - it really makes the difference in certain materials/objects

I know I have said this many times here, but removing features is never good. No matter how obscure or physically inaccurate a setting is there is a good chance users have found a good use for it.

I much prefer the idea of an advanced tab or advanced mode (like the render settings dialog), or even a warning like shellac mode in VrayBlend (which in extremely useful).

Love the new features, but please stop removing old ones
