  • Vray 5.1 february 26th build - IPR and camera issues

    Hello

I have downloaded the latest build of vray 5.1 and we still having issues with IPR. The camera is still not tilt shifting properly.

Tks! Looking forward for a quick fix.

Hi, same\similar problem for me. I've got it from the first 5.1 build. No change with the 26th build.
It seems to occur after i use the region render.
    Thanks

Yep. This is a big issue for us. What's worse is that installing version 5.0 doesn't fix it. It's like Update 1 infected the scenes with its camera bug?

Also recreating the camera do not fix the problem.

The only temporary 'fix' to this is to restart the IPR, but i find this extremely disruptive as it breaks the purpose of using th IPR.
I used to be able to show my clients changes made on the fly but now with this update, everything has to be recalculated again even with the slightest tweak made.

It's also weird that i couldnt select/mask the sky and glass surfaces via the cryptomatte masking on the VFB. (Also, in the update highlights it was written even the VRAY wirecolour element can be used for masking, but right now there are only 3 forms of masking?)

Also, not sure if it's a vray5 related issue, my Kstudio Project manager plugin renders most of my asset thumbnails as a blank white image after updating to vray5.

All in all, some of the new feature is rather promising but right now, some of it's core function is broken.
Hope this can be addressed at your earliest convenience, team Chaos!

Is useless to use IPR for me at the moment. Hope they fix this problem as soon as possible.
