vray 5.1 Max fresh start 2 threads at 100% all the time... while doing nothing.

I installed the new version of Vray and noticed that my PC was making too much noise...
two threads of the cpu are ALWAYS at 100% while doing nothing.

tried re-start no luck.
tried delete of vray and re-install and no luck.
tried opening old version of max 2020 with Vray Next = no problem, all working fine.
tried deleting other plugins = same issue.
tried a Max 2021 without Vray.= no problem.


So looks like vray 5.1 is doing something in the background.

Last nvidia drivers. windows updated.
I have it on video too, but I think is not necessary... is a very boring video.

Tried latest nightly, same problem....

But then I realized that Chaos Cosmos wasn't working, because my network deployment was failing...
I reset the Cosmos setting to the original folder, and looks like working normally.
So I guess was Cosmos doing something in the background? maybe trying to find an inexistent folder?

Sorry for the troubles you had and thank you for reporting this.
Chaos Cosmos does not currently support network(shared drive) asset storage To avoid this as you noticed you have to use a local folder for the assets. We have the issue reported in our bug-tracker and will keep you posted.
