  • v-ray rendering all white using vray cam

    Hi there,
I was using the physical camera and have decided to use a vray cam, but when I am rendering it the screen is completely washed out.

I deleted the sun and recreated it (it's the only light source), I am using the default camera settings also to see what I need to work with but can't get past this first issue. I have tried with no exposure control and vray exposure control but it's always the same - just a blinding white render frame.

    What am I missing?

The V-Ray camera has separate Exposure control options (under the Color&Exposure rollout) that override the globals. Either play with them or disable them to use the globals.

Thanks for that, I'll go mess around with it and see what I come up with.

Alternatively, you can turn on automatic exposure in the render settings (remeber to transfer it to the camera(s) once it's calculated!)
