  • Vray 3dsmax v 03/03/21: VrayBitmap RGB color space primaries are global

Not sure if this is a bug but it seems like it is. When setting RGB Primaries in one VrayBitmap map all the others in the scene change to that setting.
If this is not a bug it should be changed to be able to be set per map as different textures will require different colour space input.

Edit: It seems like its a material UI refresh issue, if you click from one vrayBitmap to another vraybitmap the UI doesn't refresh completely so it loads the RGB settings from the previous map.
If you click on a different material and then on another vraybitmap the map refreshes and show the correct setting.

    Hi ILS,

I've tested the reported with 3ds Max 2021/V-Ray 5, update 1 and it seems to be working as expected.

Can you give us more information on how to reproduce it?
    - The V-Ray and 3ds Max versions that you have installed. See here how to find the exact V-Ray version.
    - The exact steps you take and maybe including an example video.

      Hi Viktoria,
I used both max 2018 and 2020 and was able to reproduce this bug.
We are using the latest Vray 5 update 1 version 5.10.00 build 00003

Here is a link to the video of the bug

        Hi @ILS

Thanks for the reference video. I manage to replicate the issue with the Compact Material Editor UI not updating some of the VRayBitmap attributes. It's reported in our internal bug-tracking system as VMAX-10848.

Note that the UI is updated as expected in the Slate Material Editor.
