  • Vdenoise tool issue with .vrimg

Hi, i've Vray Next and the Vdenoise tool often not work with a file saved as .vrimg, no error, it read the file then immediately return 100% done and save the file.
But i found the workaround...open the same file with vray frame buffer in 3dsmax, save it in .exr multilayered, and then vdenoise tool work rightly showing progress and saving file!
    But why?

    Hi 3DKodo

Does this happen with a specific .vrimg file? Keep in mind that it should contain the necessary render elements so that VDenoise could work. I.e., use the Save all image channels to single file from the VFB or V-Ray raw image file from the Render Setup.

Can you clarify a bit what do you mean by often? If it is file-specific, do share it with us so we can have a look.
Made a simple test and it appears to be working as expected.
