limit VrayIES light ?

hello,
is it possible to limit the IES light in distance? like with standard max lights?

i tried with cutoff and got this. that does not look quite good...bug?

The cutoff result is expected. The effect you would like to achieve has been requested before, however, it is not physically accurate. You may try either reducing the intensity of the IES or using a specific IES profile for those specific lights.

clear that its not accurate, but sometimes useful to fade out. thanks alek
