3ds Max Freezes after opening material editor.

Hello,

I am writting regarding an error I am actually facing in two different machines, I got installed the latest 3Ds max 2021 and the latest V-Ray version, everything works ok until I open the material editor, then Max doesn't crash, but suddently is like 50% responding, keyboard doesnt respond on 3Ds Max, and some buttons freezes. I can't find any crash log because 3Ds Max doesn't actually crash, but is not working. Anyone who had experienced the same got any solution? Thanks in advance.

Could you try resetting your 3ds max settings to their defaults.
To do that you have to rename the ENU folder, which is located in the following place:

• C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\ 2021 - 64bit\ENU

Rename the ENU folder to ENU_old. When 3ds max is launched, a new ENU folder will be created. Keep in mind that this will remove any customizations you might have set.
