    Hi

    I have upgraded to the latest vray 5 from initial 5 release. Normally I could save the results from vfb to jpg/tga with all correction applied and it looked the same. Now it seems that no gamma is applied. Where I can find this magic tick to make it work again as it was before?
    Best Regards

    type fileoutgamma=1.0 in maxscript (depends how you set up your config)

        That would be the opposite what urbanite wants.The default in 3ds max is set via MAXScript this way:
        fileoutgamma=2.2

        First make sure Gamma is enabled in 3ds max Preferences under Gamma and LUT.

        TGA/JPG output will match V-Ray VFB if Display Correction is set to Gamma (matches 3ds max) or sRGB (slight difference in this case) there.
        You can also do a test render using Scanline renderer to test 3ds max Gamma options are setup correctly.

          Thanks for reply. I do have the correct setu, gamma is enabled and set up to 2.2. Apparently there is some glitch in the scene I am working on. The new one behaves as expected.
