    Hi there;

    Maybe one of you guys can help me. I have Vray and Viz 2005 running on one machine (p4 3.2) and I installed the render server on another machine (dual xeon 2.. followed the whole installation process, which seemed very easy, and at the end when it tells me to start the Vrayspawner.exe a window pops up very quicly and then closes and I notice the program is not running anymore. The Vrayspawner.log acuses only one error which is about not being able to read a vraydummy.xml (the file is there in the root of Viz) file and even after I tried re-installing the whole software and still the same error.
    Do any of you have an idea on what could be wrong?

    Thanks a lot!

      Still doesn't work quite perfectly...

      Hi there;

      Thanks a lot! I could, at least, get the Vrayspawner to work, the only problem now is that the server is not being able to contribute on in the rendering at all. I tried to read on the XML files and see if there was something wrong but, as far as I can tell nothing is abnormal. I keeps opening and closing a window, really fast, and the network folder in the root of my Viz copy a file called "to Server.txt" appears with the following text:
      Code:
       error
      Error loading *.max file
      Can anyone tell me what it means?

      Thanks a lot!

        I would try saving over your vraydummy.max file with a empty viz file.
