  • UDIMs wont load with VRayBitmap

    Hi

    I'm running V-Ray 5 Gpu for 3ds Max 2018

    And I cant seem to get UDIMs to load via the VRayBitmap, they load just fine by using a standard multi-tile map, but multi-tile does not work well if I plug a VRayBitmap into it, instead of a regular bitmap node.

    So I want to use the features of the VRayBitmap node, but it wont load my udims, just the first one. so im kinda stuck.

    Anybody got som sugestions. Thanks!

    Hi,
    Have you tried with <UDIM> tag added to the file name in VRayBitmap as it is described here ?

      Yeah, they are named filename.1001 , 1002 etc, like i said they load just fine with the multi-tile node, which also uses the udim tag. its just with VRayBitmap that they dont load propperly

        I meant using only VRayBitmap with texture named filename.<UDIM>. png. For example - NumSeq.<UDIM>.png. Click image for larger version
