I came upon a strange thing while attaching my objects into one. A particular object's material changed appearance. I've checked the materials IDs after attaching and they are all fine. If I detach it to separate objects again, the material changes back to the original look. Please see screenshot below.

Thank you for the provided scene. The issue is caused by two things - the Rounded corners on the big cylinder and the refractiveness of the small cylinder. I am not yet sure if this is a bug or a byproduct of the rounded corners' effect. I'll write again with more information.
EDIT: Setting the Rounded corners mode to Convex only resolves the issue, so you may use it as a workaround.Last edited by hermit.crab; 18-06-2021, 09:23 AM.
