    Hello Vlado,

    I have this scene which rendered out perfect a few weeks ago..

    I had to add some more furniture objects yesterday and the scene stopped to render at building cache.. only 25% of my processor is used and when I cancel the scene I can't do anything in max. I have to shut it down through task manager.

    I made a new scene file and added groups of objects until the render stopped.. and it was vrayfur. I deleted the objects and made new ones, but still the same bug.. I need the fur.. can anybody help me out.

    Hey Nicolass,
    I havent had any problems with vray fur in any of my scenes.
    One thing to make sure of is to make sure that your vrayfur object isnt generating GI, it will make a huge difference.
    If you want send me part of your scene that has the problem and I will check it out.

      What is the object that servers as a fur emitter?

        Well.. I deleted them again and whoops it's gone...
        Took me a couple of hrz..

        I can do it with the receive GI or without.... so must have been some corrupt geo or material question... so ... Will it speed up things that much with GI receiving turned off ?

        It was emitted onto a standard plane..

          I have found that vray fur is ok to receive GI, but the scene become really slow when vrayfur is generating GI, especially in an interior scene with Light cache.

          Good to hear its fixed tho!
