I have a Revit model where both the faces of the glass and frames are perfectly aligned giving me this result. Is there anyway around this bar altering the geo so the faces sit proud of one another?
Not sure if I understand the issue. Could you elaborate and possibly attach the simplified scene along with screencaps describing the issue and the desired result?
try adjusting the secondary ray bias in global switches to like 0.001
or alternatively stick a "push" modifier on either the glass or the frames and set it to a very small value, not visible, but enough to shift the faces from being coplanar.
