Rendering Specific Objects with Render Mask

Render Mask Selected

Hi!

I need to re-render parts of an already rendered image right on-top of the rendered image. It worked when I did the tutorial and a couple of times with a project.
But it doesn´t work for quite a while now. Now rendering starts allover again with a black background and only renders the selected image.

Render Setup window > Settings > System rollout and setting the Previous parameter is set to Unchaged

Can anyone help please?

It should work. Does this happen only with the "Selected" mode or it happens with other Render Mask modes? Mind if you record a short video reproduction of the process?
