DR bug with increment on save (max 7) vray 1.47.03

I don't know if someone saw this but if you have
increment on save in your files settings dr is not working properly

i'm not talking for animation but some people have many problem to start dr an if you have in your
preference settings-files-file handling-INCREMENT ON SAVE option

Serge, you are right,

I just disable the "Increment on save" option and now DR is working.
In the past DR is never working in my network... I try all the solution available on the forum no one was working for me....

Yep, this has been reported and is one of the most common reasons for DR to fail. Hopefully, this will be better for the next releases. BTW, DR now works with animations and this will be included in the next release.

Didn't know about increment on save. Hopefully this will solve the problem I am having with DR! Try it out tonight.

YEEEEEEEEEEHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAA! It works! Just had to say that considering I live in BC; Western Canada for those who don't know! Anyway increment on save is what did it. Unchecked that and boom DR works! Very, very exciting! The coolest feature ever! This is so cool! Only wish I had it back a few weeks ago when I had a tight deadline!

Uh oh... what if Increment on Save isnt checked, and you still have problem?

In fact - 1 of my machines was doing DR with no problems for the last 2 weeks, and today it has joined the new one that refuses to do DR.

Is it some kind of IP problem?

hehe i remember this one story about a professor of mine in montreal at concordia university. she was working on code for one of the discreet products called frost. at discreet one year they were demo-ing the product and at a few of the booths some of the computer companies like boxx and alienware they were letting them demo the software on their computers. and in one booth one of the computers caught fire hehe. i remember it wasnt one of the afore montioned companies boxx or alienware. wish i could remember who. this had to be back in about 98 or 99
