  • Add a background image

    Hi.
How do I solve the problem of white edges when I add a background image (for example sky).
    See attached file.
    Thanks

Make sure the Background Color (Rendering>Environment) is black. If there's a map in the slot transfer it to the GI overrides (Render Setup>Environment>GI Environment) so as not to lose the GI effect.

      Thanks.
There is no map in enviroment and the color is black.
What there is is vray dome light with vray sky. Make the vray dome light invisible?

        Yes, that should fix it.

Okay- so one problem was solved
I have another problem - the background in VFB is very noisy in relation to the original image - see attached.
            Is there a solution?
            Thanks

It may be caused by the "Stretch" option; try "Fitting" the image and see if that resolves the noise. If the stretched version is necessary, you may need to rescale your image to the correct resolution (through a third-party software) prior to importing the image.
