Way to Exclude Objects for AO Render Element

We used to use the VrayExtraTexture Element for our AO pass, but wanted to switch over to the new AO Render Element. There are few things we don't want to have AO like road stripes. Is there a way to exclude objects like you can with VrayExtraTexture?

Excluding is not yet implemented, I'm afraid. There is an improvement request logged (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-11174), which priority I'll additionally bump. For now, use the ExtraTex method as a workaround.
