VFB background overwrites glow effect

The mask the background creates only includes the geometry, not the glow effect. Can this be resolved?

From other discussions Ive had on the forums about this...the short answer is "no". But you do have the glare pass separate to do it in post.

I reported this a number of times already. The math tells me it should be possible, the devs say it isn't.

If you switch to composite and add the background to that then it works.

Yeah, I think in the other posts where it was explained that it wasn't possible was before the new vfb was introduced.
