  • Make tiled resolution textures not found - Max 2022

Hi, for some reason I can't seem to find this tool anywhere. When trying to use it through the vraybitmap converter script it also states that it can't find it. I still have it installed because of Max 2020, but nowhere to be found for Max 2022 though.

Edit: sorry nevermind it seems it moved to another location, it's not in the Start menu anymore though?

While I have your attention . Would it be possible to run the vraybitmap converter + tx converter script on a multiple of .mat files? Or maybe even .max files? Might be nice to also provide an option to set the blur values to 1 and the filtering to sharp isotropic. (Although might this give problems with opacity maps > white edge? Or has this been sorted with this type of filtering?)

Well, a script that loads the library (and does the necessary changes) in the editor on a fresh scene, runs the converter, and re-saves it should work. Note that you can utilize the "maketx.exe" (C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\VRay3d sMax2022\bin; cmd only) separately as well.

Well I bought a script that can do batch operations on .mat or .max files with running custom scripts as well on scene load. And I have some scripts that can set blurvalues of bitmaps to 1.0 and change filtering as well, albeit with manual operations. And ofcourse there's the vraybitmap converter as well. But as I'm not a scripter I have no idea to put all these together.

I should note also that running the vraybitmap converter doesn't convert corona bitmaps. These are only converted when running the vray scene converter.
