  • Fog Color Issue

    Hi,

I am getting an issue when using fog color (for example for water materials) in combination with objects with very flat angles pertruding the surface.
Attached you can see a picture. You can see for the left plane there is this unnatural thick dark line at the intersection. Once the plane has a steeper angle the line disappears.
The line disappears when the fog color is set to pure white.

It's to do with shadow bias, so will disappear if you set it to 0.
However, it doesn't work with only an hdri (or I can't figure out where to adjust any bias for the dome), so you need a sun also to make it go away.

Of course the dome's bias is in the sampling rollout, so all solved

Awesome that works! Thanks That's the first time I ever had to change the bias so now at least I know what it's good for!
