  • Save date/time

When I save over an image, from the VFB, the date and time in Windows Explorer don't change. Is this a Windows issue or a V-Ray issue?

I would love to have a solution for this but I do not, sadly.

I did however need to say that you need a happier avatar dude!

You must be earning an absolute fortune and so the avatar needs more smiles...in my humble opinion, of course

I am drunk when posting this, so.....

Okay, so it isn't an issue on my side. Thanks for the reply, anyway.

I am sober when posting this (I didn't know we needed a qualifier)

Which date are you referring to in Explorer, since there are various you can display by modifying the tabs?

        "Date"
        "Date Modified"
        "Date Created"

"Date" is mostly useless overall, not just for images

Maybe it's just Explorer being an arse, which it regularly is for me. Periodically it will simply refuse to display thumbnails, for example.
In fact on my old pc it did this and they never came back; I tried every solution out there but nothing....very annoying.

Just a thought but did you try refreshing after updating?

LOL just noticed you swapped out for smiles

I will have to update mine, come to think of it...

This date. These are updated because I saved them in PS later in the day, but when I saved them from the frame buffer, the date and time doesn't update.

I think that's date created, not date modified. I think you can add that column if you want somehow.

The column header says Date modified. But I'll look into it... thank you!
