  • problems with bitmap three plugin and DR -

    hey guys, i've been in troubles always when i try to use bitmap tree, a plugin from marc lorenz wich build plane to use as opacity planes with bitmaps aplied on them. the point is that when Dr is working, it seems like each machine put the bitmap locations in a diferent position and angle from the source machine as you can see ath this picture.
    i would really appreciate if somebody could help me in this issue

    sorry i didn't see your PM before...
    honestly i have no idea
    "face render view" is using a pre-render callback to align the trees.
    looks like this doesn't work in your situation.
    maybe it works with "face camera" instead.

      thanks by your answer plastic. but would you mind to tell em what does face camera means and how could i aply it? because there in your plugin i have only the option face renderview update. according what i've understood, it seems liike the slaves machines couldnt update the bitmap to face camera. dont you ever seem the same situation while using it?

        I suppose it depends on how the plugin is coded... some the information that is available in a normal rendering, is not available in DR mode (since 3dsmax does not have a GUI and the rendering was not started by the user directly).
