  • Denoise Opacity

    Hi,

can it be that when rendering a picture with the denoiser (in my case V-Ray Denoiser, Mild) and the denoiser layer in VFB has an opacity value (in my case 0.5 instead of 1) that the saved out image doesn't take the reduced opacity into account and applies the denoising always at full opacity?
So in that case the saved out EXR on the harddisk and the picture in the VFB seem to be different to each other.

    Hello,

What is your source layer set to ? If it is just RGB - try switching to composite and adding just one render element layer set to the RGB.

    Best regards,

Hi, indeed it's set to RGB. I will try to switch it to composite and see if that solves the issue.
