Hi,

please what is this error? VRay show this message in inicialization phase and stop rendering.
I am using newest 3ds max and VRay in CPU mode.
When I lower image resolution rendering continue without error.

It's just a guess but given that number of triangles...147mil, it could be displacement, so running out of memory at that resolution.

You can set the displacement to not use pixels for edge length, which will allow you to budget the total triangles a bit better across changing resolutions, if at the price of having a fixed detail.

Alternatively, when you double resolution, you can double edge length as well, so to *roughly* keep the number of triangles unchanged, again at the cost of some detail.

Lastly, you can set displacement to dynamic (untick "static geometry", or "pre-tessellated", depending on your V-Ray version), and that will ensure the displacement will only be calculated for the active buckets.
Two more things, however, need to happen in this case: you must avoid any progressive algo (so, both the prog renderer and the LC.), and you must set the "dyn mem limit" to a suitable value for your machine and the specific scene, so to allow V-Ray to unload the displaced triangles that are not needed from memory as the render progresses.
Minor, but try and use the triangulation bucket order for optimal memory use.
