VrayBitmap -- HDR Loader

I'm on V-Ray 5, Update 2.1 and when I drop a VrayBitmap node into slate the "Chose HDR image" dialog opens up automatically. Is this new to Update 2?
I realize you can hit cancel or escape to close but it would be great if you could turn that off somehow, the prompt gets pretty annoying after a while.

That behavior was requested multiple times in the past (to be similar to the 3ds Max native Bitmap). It's not something new. No way to disable it, I'm afraid.
