  • Vray perspective ocludes volumegrids?

I've done some testing lately with Vray aerial perspective and noticed that I can't see my volume grids as long as VAP is enabled. Another related issue, any planes that in front of the camera being brightened, why does that happen?
I've added a few saved images which visualize my issues. One diffuse render and one atmosphere render element with VAP and Vray volume grid enabled, and one Diffuse and one Atmosphere without VAP but with Vray volume grid enabled

It works fine for me, so long as i have the aerial perspective as first entry, and the VVG as second.

Well that's awkward, yesterday I did exactly that, and the result I had was darker smoke in the volume grid, I now tried again and it works just fine. I suppose I accidentally changed values.

A thick AP will darken the VVGs, yes, as less light will get to them.
