Dear Vray Team,
We face some issues with EXR files under DWAA compression when we try to use Cryptomatte in Davinci or AfterEffect.
It seems that the version we have ( 3.70.01 ) did not save it properly and the Cryptomatte only works under ZIP. This is not ideal for long sequences and heavy projects that we have.
We test with the same scene in Vray 5 and the EXR properly contains workable Cryptomatte under DWAA compression for a fraction of the size of the ZIP.
Is there a workaround that we can use?
note: We have the same issue no matter the saved bitrate. Cryptomatte is always saved in 32 bit, no matter the settings.
Thank you in advance!
