  • Crash with PFlow Shape instance and Chaos Cosmos geometry

A Crash when a PFlow Shape instance of a specific object using VRayMtl and VRayNormalMap.
Especially reproduced with Chaos Cosmos cookies and bread geometry.

Open the attached scene, connect VRayNormalMap to Bump of VRayMtl and try rendering.

yes, that's crashing... As you might find already out, alternatively avoid the VrayNormalMap.

A little suggestion: check out Tyflow if possible and you should not know already. In Beta already a very stable and very good tool, AUTODESK can only dream of.
It´s even also faster and technically in all concerns way more progressive than good OLD Pflow.

You can also simulate perfect grinding with Coffebeans... =)

Hellom caypiranha Thank you for your reply.

I have already found a bug report.

This may be a problem on the Autodesk (PFlow) side.

Tyflow. Yes it is the best choice. I love Tyflow myself.

I'm a Chaos reseller in Japan and this issue was reported by my customer.
Therefore, it is unknown whether the customer will use Tyflow.

        hello flat,

        ah, I get the picture.
Thought a little similar on that, by visiting your given link and gathering - apparently only purely visual information... =) A good way for gathering bugs.

FYI. The issue is already under developer investigation.
