  • EXR save element problem

VRayCryptomatte VRayMtlID VRayObjectID VRayDenoiser after saving the four elements in the EXR, the VRayDenoiser element in the AE does not exist. The VRayDenoiser element is not visible but cannot be used by the other two ID elements, and the VRayCryptomatte element also indicates no data?

Hi, what happens if you try to load the saved EXR in a clean VFB? On my setup all render elements are there and work. Could you share the EXR file that you have issues with?

Now the problem has been found. It seems to be a bug in Vray version 5.20.02. When I reduce the software to vray 5.20.01, everything is normal,
In the new version of vray 5.20.02, vraycryptomate vraymtlid vrayobjectid vraynoise and sRGB in display correction are temporarily found; Gamma 2.2; OCIO; ICC; The configuration information of cannot be saved to EXR format file
The specific screenshots and attachment information can't be sent until one day. I wonder if my description can be clear

As shown in the figure, the result of frame cache is different from that after saving, but the noise reduction does not work,
The noise reduction channel extracted in AE is also different from the noise reduction channel of frame buffer. This should be solved in this way. It seems that there is no noise reduction in saving reflection channel, refraction channel and so on, so it will be very troublesome to adjust in the later stage of AE

Hi I looked up your scene. You have color corrections layers in your VFB. That is why there is a difference between RGB and render elements. If you want to apply and save the color corrections to the render elements you have to use this:

          Crypto matte works (V-Ray 5.20.02).

I know what you said. What I want to say is whether the part 1 in the picture can also save the adjustment to the element channel like the part 2
The material ID and object ID of the results saved in Section 2 cannot be extracted in Adobe After effects

Hi, section 2 as you call it saves separate EXR files for each render element. You will have the VRayObjectID and the VRayMtlID as separate lifes and you can load them in After Effects.
