  • particle flickering

Hi, this mighht be a phoenix issue (or a combo) but i'm getting some strange flickering in my phoenix setup. I've attached a mov showing the flicker.

The setup is 2 particle shaders firing at each other and meeting in the middle. It seeme to me to only affect the red particles but that could be a red herring, infact it looks like the 2 systems sharing the same 3d space and its choosing which one to render infront randomly. I'm not using gi.

Has anyone seen this behavior before?

I'm going to try reducing the Volume Light Cache Speedup on both the particle shaders & see if that helps.

EDIT: It did not. same flickering as before.

Does setting a small "Secondary Ray Bias" (Render Setup>V-Ray>Global Switches) value (i.e. 0,001) make a difference? If not, do send the scene so we can take a look.
