  • Override material + AcesCG issues

    Hello,

I´ve been using acescg on my workflow, but i find some issues throughout the process.

When using material override, some materials get overrided with previous override material.

I think this might be related to Forest Pack.

    Tks

Hi, I don't think this has anything to do with the Aces workflow. Could you send a simplified version of your scene with the issue so we can review it?
You can do that here or though or support contact form.

I would generally encourage people to finish their issues in the forum so that everyone can benefit from learning about the issues/solutions. If you take an issue into the support system then nobody else on the forum gets the answers-- which will of course increase the support load on Chaos since the resolution is not made public.

You can assume that if the solution is of general interest, the thread on the forum gets updated, and a bug tracking number is added to the relevant post.
If the post goes silent, assume that the user had an issue that wasn't universal, but specific to their setup.

Glad to hear it, Lele. I think this forum is a great resource, and there is lots to be learned. Just like to keep as much of that in the open as possible so we can all find solutions quickly.

Indeed, and the forum is also google-indexed, which makes looking for info a lot easier than using the integrated search, for example (see below).

To keep to the OT: At the risk of sounding obvious, saving the link to the google search for the site (i.e. "site:chaos.com") allows to click the bookmark, pressing the spacebar and start typing the question.
