Matte object with shadow problem

Hi, I am trying to rendering a table with shadow in transparent background, but the shadow appear too dark to the original rendering as shown below:

After apply a white background layer in photoshop

It look so much difference from the original image, any suggestion?

matte object setting:

Matte object: tick
Alpha contribution: -1.0
Shadow: tick
Affect alpha: tick

It's likely you're seeing the same thing, so you can use one of the solutions from that thread to fix it
tldr: either use exr or convert the png to 16 bit is PS iirc.
