  • IPR not working anymore after using batch render for a scene - what could be the reason?

    Hello,

I was using batch render (.bat) with command-line render with some scenes.
Since that the IPR is not working anymore with those scenes.
(but with other scenes, which have not been involved)

I can start a standard render but no IPR anymore.

What could be the reason? Does it change any setting?

    Thanks

    Max 2022 and Vray5

Just tested it out on a simple scene without issues. Any warnings printed in the log? Does it happen with regular Batch rendering?

Thanks, I found out with the LOG:
"Skip existing frames" disabled the render - which shouldn't do it with IPR which is just used to check the render.
Also it's mentioning things, that weren't true, like distributed rendering, which is off.

You're right, it shouldn't happen with IPR, however, I'm not getting that warning even though "Skip Existing Images" is enabled (tested with update 2.3). Which V-Ray 5 build do you have installed? Also, you can safely ignore the "Distributed rendering is not supported in production IPR mode" message. Also, note that you can utilize our own V-Ray output settings.
