  • Region render issue

    Hello,
I must say the new "Region render" (probably introduced in the newest Vray version) is very annoying. The handles at the corners of region frame are not very useful when want to select another region inside the current one but there is the biggest issue. When changing the regions in IPR mode the frame "likes" to stick to the mouse coursor and follow it. If You didn't notice that the region can enlarge to the area You didn't want. The only way to get rid of that sticked region frame is to go with thte coursor to the cancel the rendering button but as mentioned before it can "reset" part of the already rendered image. The previous version of Region render worked FAR better. If there is no way to restore the previous version, please fix that stick problem.
    Thanks

Not for me. So long as the cursor is inside the area, i have zero interaction with the area already drawn.

Again, i can't repro this behaviour, no matter how heavy the scene i'm rendering (and my workstation isn't exactly a top spec one.).

It would be good if you could provide us with more info, and/or a scene that reproduces the issues you're having.

I have also experienced the "sticky" handles problem, but on very rare occasions. No idea how and why this happens.

        Right, so it's intermittent.
I am suspecting some plugin or script that fires off a callback (on conditionX do somethingY) which kills core0 through sheer repetition.
If you could pack a scene which exhibits the behaviour, we could profile it.
