Hard to say without a scene.
Pack it, put it somewhere, and send me the link, if you want.

        It is, it downloaded.
I'll get to checking it today and report back.

The materials' setup is odd: you're mapping a jpg preview of the HDR you're using for the backdrop as reflection map (crucially not a reflection environment map) to the glasses, which will surely lead to wonky reflections.
I have no texture of those you use, but i'd suggest you to start from scratch on most shaders, using either those that come with V-Ray (material library or cosmos), or starting with the presets in the vrayMtl UI itself.
Keep it simple, things will behave as you'd expect.

Also, you're not under LWF, which will lead to trouble. Turn Gamma correction on in your Max.

Thank you so much for the feedback. So the client wanted very strong unrealistic reflection on the glass, how would i do that without using the HDRI map in the reflection slot. I thought putting light through would bring out the reflection but there's an insane amount of lights going into the room and its has no reflections the environment map also doesn't reflect.

The gamma I turned off as if I follow the 2.2 and then correct at 1.0 it comes out dark and doesn't work the only way I can have the render save and actually be what I'm looking at is if i turn it off which is contrary to even video I've seen but for me it doesn't work.

Thank you again so much lele

If i sent an fbx would that have the textures attached?

You need to file -> archive for the zip file to contain the textures.

Regarding stronger reflections in glasses, you have one of three options:
*) Raise the IoR for the glass shader. To not alter refraction, ensure you unlock and change just the Reflection IoR.
*) Plug the environment map into the environment slot of the glass shader, as a copy. Then, with IPR active, rotate the map around. This has a high chance of looking inconsistent.
*) Plug the environment map into a dome light, set the dome to not affect diffuse, use the include/exclude dialog to include only the glasses, then with IPR active rotate the map (or dome if you lock the map to the dome). This too has a high chance of looking inconsistent.

You should really make an effort to work under LWF as it's a staple of CGI: given you're using a student version of Max, it's likely the right time for you to get familiar with it.

Thanks again this is so helpful,

So any idea why my gamma doesn't work like I see in tutorial videos? I set correction under preferences to 2.2 then I believe your meant to correct it at 1.0 when saving the image but this creates an image with totally different gamma which means when I'm working I'm not seeing the correct gamma in the VFB window.

Also the VFB corrections i add as a layer don't save to the render?

Factory Defaults are your friends for LWF.
To save the corrected image, you need to save it from the VFB itself.
