  • (Partially Fixed) Help! I can't access my render window after a very long render.

Edit: For posterity, to anyone with a similar issue, Windows "Split Screen Mode" (where you take one window and put it to the left and then choose the other window, 3DS Max in my case) was the ONLY thing that fixed this.

    ------------
    The original problem:
I have been rendering a large scene continuously over the past 2 days. However, somehow one of my monitors turned off such that my 3DS Max window got collapsed or went offscreen. I am unable to recover the window again. I've used all the typical tricks like alt+right click and shift+space+m to try to move the window. Sometimes, I get split-second flashes of my 3DS Max window, but it won't "draw" or stay persistent. This means that I can't go in and pause/save out my render, even though I know it's still crunching away. It's just Windows won't display it.

    (I am in in Windows 10, FYI. V-ray 5. 3DS Max 2020.)
