  • Visibale to Camera

Seem to be broken in the latest VRay. I don't know, maybe it is broken in MAX 2023. People are reporting it not working in Arnold, so who knows?

Hi I tested the "visible to camera" (object properties) in 3ds max 2023 with V-Ray 6 and it works. In Arnold it does not. Which version of V-Ray are you using?

I'll have to test more. It worked, then it doesn't. I am using V-Ray 5 now; I was getting Forest Pro issues with V-Ray 6 Beta.

Hi. Is Vray 6 beta still does not have "visible to camera" in vray camera properties as exclude/include list?

Hi glorybound as far as I can see from your video, the camera is behind glass and you object is on the other side of the glass. That is why the "visible to camera" is not working. It has always been like that.

                  Hello,
if not, maybe it is on "to-do" list for Vray6 ?

I would be grateful for an answer

Hi we are currently not planning of adding such functionality. We may consider it in the future. Thank you for your feedback.

This is really sad news, because it is a very useful function... Maybe we get it in Vray 7....
