GPU IPR when turning on/off translucency

not sure if this has been reported, but i'm in GPU mode and when i play around with switching SSS or None or Volumetric, or when SSS is on and I play around with settings, at some point the IPR will stop and won't update or let me hit stop or play. i will close down the IPR window and re-open and same thing. ultimately i have to close max down, which takes a while for it to go away using the windows X close method, ultimately i right-click max on the task bar and close it that way or end-task sometimes. i have the latest version of 5 installed and it's not a beta version. thanks.

I cannot reproduce this. Any error messages? Do you have the latest recommended video driver? Could you attach a simple scene where this is happening?

What Aleksander said, and you can also check the log for any errors you get when this happens.

well, no. because now the scene i've created and played around with for a couple days is not having the problem ugh! check errors, yes i will keep my log open and see if i can spot it when it happens or warnings about something.thanks.
