I am working on an animation and when using the standalone Denoiser to denoise the frames, I get random splotches on the images. Here is a sample:
Interestingly, these splotches appear at the same location on the frame, ie, they do not "move" with the camera, but stay put to the frame edges. They are random in the sense that they change location between running the denoiser on the same file.
I am using 3dsMax 2020 with Vray 5.2.3. These frames are rendered on the Chaos Cloud, but it's the same for locally rendered frames. I am denoising by using the Default Vray denoiser, blending 3 frames, and using the "strong" preset. Any help and insight on this is greatly appreciated. I can send full EXR or other files if needed for analysis.
