Thanks for the reports. One is caused by the other, most probably. I've logged them (internal bug-tracker id: VMAX-12396, VMAX-12397) for dev investigation.

Yes, only the crash is fixed at the moment. We are working on supporting Cryptomatte for VRayScatter, though.

Very soon. Note that we've already implemented Cryptomatte support in our internal builds, so it's just a matter of time.
