  • Chaos Scatter - "Convert to Max geometry" feature not working right

    Hi,

    I have a Chaos Scatter object that I use to scatter a bunch of Christmas light bulbs on splines. When I convert the scattered objects to Max geometry, the bulbs suddenly all orient themselves along the path instead of sticking out. Why does this happen? Is it a bug?

    Try Resetting xForm on the instanced object prior to the conversion.

        How can I do this in Maya? I dont see any way to convert scatter objects to geo in Maya.
