Hi, i've tried 31737 and it's still buggy. Also no note on the release notes. Maybe it didn't come out yet?

It should well have, but you are right, it doesn't seem to be in there, i just had time to test the same build out.
I'll update my posts accordingly as i'll get more news.

So, the build with the fix is surely 31735.
Somehow, it didn't make in the subsequent stable ones.
The above, however is tested as fixed, please PM me if you need it and don't have access to it.

I'll make sure to update the thread for when it'll be in stables.

It looks like the error was on my end, we don't have access to the nightlies, but rather to the stable versions. Could i please have access to the nightlies? There's no 31735 on the stables.

            Thank you

For now, just let me know via PM what max version you need covered, and i'll send you a link to the nightly. (it's quicker. )

The fix is now finally into the stable 31741 and later.
                Sorry for my misunderstandings.

I've just tried both the nightly and stable and the bug is not fixed. Simply add a edit mesh modifier and the motion blur is gone.
                  Could you please confirm?

That would always be the case with any deformed geometry, independently from its source: edit mesh strips vertex animation.
Use turn to mesh instead. (see attached.)

Edit mesh never broke before Vray 6, only Edit poly. We could edit the animated meshes (force example fix some poly ids) and not lose mb.

Here's a screen recording showing the bug with just a displacement mod.

It works for me with displacement, as you can see above, and it oddly (for me.) works with edit mesh as well, the proxy must be doing something clever enough (i.e.implicit turn to mesh).
We'll need a scene to repro this.

I can repro the issue with your cache, i'll pass it on to the devs.
Thanks so much for the file!
