  • Catching Light illumination on matte background?

Hi, I'm not sure what is the proper name for this procedure. What I'm trying to do is to take a matte material that will catch the illumination from light, (sphere light) and later I can comp it in AE. Problem is that I can't find proper answer on net, probably because of calling it wrong.
Currently what I'm trying to do, is using VrayMaterialWrapper. But it does not catch the light for some reason. I have a background map(3d tracked), I modeled shapes to imitate wall locations. Now I need that those wall locations have light illumination.
I might be looking in the wrong direction, so I open for suggestions.

There's no way for the Shadow Catcher to include lighting. Have you tried using VRayLightSelects?
